Sneak Peak

I had just passed a significant milestone – 65 years of age. I found myself reflecting on the person I had been. The life I’d lived up to that point seemed almost foreign to me. Was I content with who I was, or did I want to change? Had I led a life of purpose? Was there more to do? Did I still have new things to learn?

It was clear I was confronting my mortality. I knew this was a common experience, even for those who, by most standards, were considered successful. Many had faced similar crossroads and challenges and had chosen various ways to confront them. I had to find my own way out of restlessness and uncertainty. I didn’t know how, but one thing was sure: staying static was not an option.

So, I made a bold decision – one that felt very much out of character for me – that would change my life.

After my experience, I felt compelled to share it with others. I was also encouraged to do so by friends and family. Although I am a seasoned healthcare writer, this book would be my first attempt at literary writing. I hope that by sharing my experience, I can help those who are struggling with similar emotions.
